DannyShane Posted December 23, 2018 Share Posted December 23, 2018 hello, i installed the update that was prompted. now when i try to launch LB, it starts to load up but then just minimizes and i can see its icon on my task bar at the bottom. but when i right click and select 'launchbox', i get a popup window for about 1 second that says "initializing", but it disappears and im not able to get into launchbox. did the update affect anyone else? if not , i will uninstall and re-install. Try going to your Launchbox/Updates folder and running the installer again directly over your current install, and see if that fixes it. I havent seen anyone else mention this issue so far, so hopefully running the installer again will fix it in case something got corrupted while updating. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Thanks neil9000, this was driving me nuts figuring out what changed to cause this. Dolphin was where I noticed it and after reading this post checked both launchbox and bigbox and sure enough theres options in bigbox and launchbox for "Game Startup" that had to be unchecked.
