Licence not working -

Hello,

I've an issue with a licence I've purchased 3-4 years ago. It works on the old PC where I've purchased it from but it doesen't on the new rig..

I've followed the recipe, dropped it in the folder root and made sure it was 3kb and not an empty file.

Still, after starting Launchbox it says ''Free Version'' and I don't know what else to try, any clue?

I think I found what the issue is, they want more money to access new features, thing is the license works just fine on the other pc, i've downloaded the latest version of Launchbox and maybe that is the issue. Is there a way to download a previos version where there are no new features and I can have access to my BigBox?

Yes that will be the issue if you do not have a lifetime license and are trying to use a new version of the program. On your older PC go into the Launchbox/Updates folder and find the version that is working and install that to your new system.

Yep, that was the issue. I run version 8.5 on the old pc , now I see there's Launchbox.Next , u guys have been busy ^^. Ok problem solved pretty much, I've always liked the quality of this software I might as well just update to a full time licence. Thank you again for the quick reply and support.

Actually Launchbox Next is now just Launchbox in the newer versions, the program was completely re-written and is now much faster among other things. You will need a current license though in order to use it with all the new features.
