Is there a way to keep the options locked but keep a way to add favorites? thanks
Retro808
If your Favorites playlist is set up to auto-populate with any games you mark as "Favorite" there is an option in BigBox, I believe under Security, to allow favoriting a game. Through this method you can accomplish what you want.
Wulfgar
Under security i see set pin clear pin allow exit while locked allow sleep while locked allow reboot while locked allow shutdown while locked allow change filter type (view type) while locked allow changing views while locked allow changing image groups while locked I have a fav playlist that auto populates when i add a new fav game. problem is when i lock BigBox the game details screen no longer has that option visible to add a game to the playlist. Retro808
@Wulfgar Ok, then the setting may be something only available in the betas. Are you running a stable release?
Wulfgar
says version 9.

Wulfgar
can i update to the beta? or is it a whole fresh reinstall? or just availible to devs? thanks for the help
Retro808
You can. It will just install a beta like any stable build right on top of your existing build. In Tools/Options you will see the updates options. Choose the betas there. You can tick it for the current beta that is out. Then untick it if you do not want to try any other betas. Keep in mind there could be minor glitches, but Jason usually has these fixed quickly.
