Disco74 Posted April 25, 2019 Share Posted April 25, 2019 Hi guys and gals I originally posted this in the troubleshooting section but it is probably better suited here! I have just started using launchbox in my arcade cabinet so Im a noob I'm afraid!!! I have the game Aliens Extermination. It was originally a PC/windows XP based arcade cabinet game and some clever people managed to get it working on modern home PC's. It actually doesnt use an emulator so I have manually set it up and its working except the only way to exit is to press the windows key, right click on the program and close it. The files I am running are a .bat file to start the Demulshooter lightgun program(which I have set to run before the game in the additional apps tab) and the Aliens.exe file. Is there a way to setup the 'escape' key to exit the game? I just need a way to exit out of the game once I am done. bahgoom Posted May 8, 2019 Share Posted May 8, 2019 Hey can you share your .bat file so I can get demulshooter running. The fix to your problem might be to edit the emulator autohotkey script. You can add whatever key you want but I use escape and it force closes (alt+F4) whatever windows program I'm running. This might not be the perfect solution but it works for me. The line is Esc : : !F4 I have attached a screenshot so you can see where I made the change. You just need to go into manage emulator then choose the one you are using for your game. bahgoom Posted May 8, 2019 Share Posted May 8, 2019 Thanks for that! I have been lurking around and found you can add DemulShooter as an additional app to launch before your emulator or exe.
