Move the whole collection to a different drive

Not sure if this is contemplated as feature or usage, but if your collection in LB is set to drive D for example, and you have all the roms and emulators in the LB folder; if you move the folder to a different drive, like drive F, do you need to scrape ALL the roms again, or the paths are relative?

I just got a larger HD that I want to use just for emulation, and since I have a ton of scraped games with extras and manuals, I wonder if moving the folder will also break all the rom location and force me to re-scrape everything.

This has been asked a lot here on the forums and answered a lot.

Yes you can move your setup. If your roms and emulators are all withing your Launchbox install folder it's a simple move and it all should just work.

If you have to you can repoint LB to your roms and emulators easily enough but it may take a few minutes. You can use the Tools > Change ROM Path Folder though keep in mind this works only if all your rom files are in a single folder, if you have you them split into sub folders such as CD based games with cue + bin then you can use Notepad++ and its find / replace all tool to change paths easily.

You do not have to rescrape anything, even if you removed all your games and reimported them you would not have to rescrape.
