Chewie Posted July 8, 2019 Posted July 8, 2019 OK, so I have done a lot of seraching and I THINK that I know the answer to this, but i want to check and make sure because I have not found anyone that has posed this specific question. What I would like to do is use Retroarch for Mame (Probably 2010) and all of the classic consoles up to Gen 4 (SNES, Sega 32X, etc) using an Ultimarc IPAC-2 with arcade sticks, buttons, etc. and then use stand alone emulators that use a set of XBox controllers for the more current consoles such as N64, Dreamcast, PS1 and Xbox. It SEEMS like that should be very doable since I am configuring the controls within the emulators and not Launchbox/BigBox, I just have to pick which controllers will be used to control Launchbox/BigBox itself since it can only be configured to use a specific set of controllers (Probably use the Arcade controls since I am building this into a cabinet). Does this seem reasonably correct? Thanks in advance for the help all! Quote

Set up your LB/BB for both cab buttons (aka keyboard input) and controller input. You can set up your emulators the same way. RetroArch example:What RA is calling the "User 1 B button", I can press button 1 (labeled A) on my controller OR on my cab, the left-side-controls "2" button (which through I-Pac is assigned to the "ALT" key). 1 Quote
