ZANDATSU Posted September 19, 2019 Share Posted September 19, 2019 Hey all, I am new to Emulation and I have trouble running Neo Geo on my Retroarch/Launchbox.. It says missing cores even though I downloaded ETA PRIME's recommended core (FB ALPHA.) .. any advice will help, is it my retroarch emulator maybe? it looks kinda funny I did add the roms in the rom folders & added the bios with it. I also pressed enter already to add the cores needed. However with all that added , it still does not play the games. I used FB Neo. What am I doing wrong? DOS76 Posted September 19, 2019 Share Posted September 19, 2019 you looked to have missed the checkbox to scrape the games using the MAME naming convention during the import wizard it is one of the available checkboxes if you delete the platform and then reimport with that checked it will name them correctly and find much more art for them. I see you named your platform SNK Neo Geo while LB is looking for SNK Neo Geo MVS or AES. So to fix it you can either change your platform name to match the platform name in RetroArch or you can add a new platform in the associated platform tab for RA named SNK Neo Geo.
