Seperate categories on the same platform

Greetings,

Sorry if this has been covered I was not able to find it.

Suppose I want for a platform (game boy for example) 4 categories one EU, one USA, one Hacks and one Translations.

How can I do this? If I name the folders and the categories accordingly the games simply do not start even though I have configured Retroarch. Only the folder "Nintendo Game Boy" works as it should.

Thanks

If they are platforms then you need to add those platforms to the associated platforms list of your Retroarch entry. Launchbox doesnt read minds on what a platform is, and if its simply named something like EU it has no way of knowing the platform that it is or the core to use, unless you specify it.

Thanks for the replay. From the "manage platforms" I chose Game Boy and from the import screen I write something like this but it doen't work. It is in my local language but you can get what I tried. I Used a "Nintnendo Game Boy (Translations)" folder as an example

Tools/Manage emulators/Retroarch/Associated platforms. You will need to click a empty cell at the bottom of the list and type the platform name EXACTLY as you named it, and pick a core from the dropdown.

For example,

That was exactly what I wanted.

Thank you very much!!
