In big box mode can i switch between games throght joypad ?

Hi, i m using the free version of lanuchbox, but i m interested in the premium due big box feature.
Can you confirm me that with this mode i can explore my library throught joypad? And assuming that i m playing a game with an emulator, can i easly switch to another game closing the previuous emulator and launching the next one in automatized way?
