Launchbox Through OneDrive

I am curious if there are any decent tutorials for installing to OneDrive (or any online storage software). I have Launchbox installed directly to my OneDrive along with an entire MAME ROMset and the current edition of MAME from the Launchbox YouTube tutorial video. I ran through the "import entire MAME set" Launchbox shows all my games after installing images and box art and what not but when I attempt to play a game it shows "initializing| for about a second before closing out back to Launchbox. I am wondering if this is due to the ROMs being "in the cloud" and not available locally but don't want to have to download all 60 GB back onto my local SSD. I followed the installation process completely from the YouTube video so I don't think there is an issue with installation.

Any help would be appreciated!

This is just a wild guess (I have no experience with this) but have you stored the emulator locally? If not, I'd try that, and try to launch the local copy of mame and point it to the cloud-roms and see if it launches, before I tried launching through cloud-launchbox.

Hmm...just tried running a game via MAME itself and that seemed to give me the same results. Now I'm wondering if there's just something wrong with my ROM set. Then I tried right clicking on a .zip of one game and directed "open with" to MAME.. went from "Initializing..." and then it closed.

Do you have a full set, have you set the rom path in mame to the rom folder, and are you using the correct mame version for the romset version?

I have a full set. I did find I still had the local file stilled in a .zip so I am going to try downloading everything locally and go from there. I was able to manually start some games but had no luck with others. I think there are some syncing errors with OneDrive
