What Core is Retroarch using for Neo Geo in Launchbox?

I added Neo Geo to my launchbox and it's working just fine, but it shouldn't be right? I didn't actually configure it in retroarch. I mean I built it in my platforms and managed emulators under retroarch in launchbox 10.10. Which weirdly the only option was a Mednafen distro. In Retroarch the only snk distro I can find is beetle? What core is actually used and how to I add it to Retroarch so I can actually configure it? I want to customize my filters but if its not showing up in Retroarch I'm not sure how I'm supposed to do that.

Launchbox does not use any cores by default. You have choose the one you want. In the Associated Platforms tab of the edit emulator screen in Launchbox under the Core column you click the dropdown and select the core you want to use.

You have to setup Retroarch how you want it first and the cores you want are downloaded. This way all the cores you are using will be sure to show and work when Launchbox sends the command line.
