MUGEN kills game pad when i exit?

This only happens with MUGEN games, when i exit the game and return to big box the game pad stops functioning and i must restart bigbox with keyboard for it to recognize game pads again. Any fixes? tried searching forums past couple days and i just keep coming up with how to exit games

It happens to me too, if you just let it unload for about 20 to 25 seconds it goes back to working controller, I don't think there is much to do unless there is a exit script for MUGEN some where on the forum
