Citra closes on startup with preload textures enabled

I'm guessing you have corrupt custom texture file perhaps.  It would explain why it crashes on preload because that option attempts to preload all the custom textures for the game you are playing.  If one of those is corrupt it would crash.  if you have that option disabled that corrupt custom texture will only load when needed/called upon... ie no instant crash on startup.  Does it do this with every game that you have custom textures for, or just the one?

It's a clean download and install for Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time. Both games do this. Haven't tried any other custom texture packs yet. With the option enabled and running without launchbox, it takes around 30 seconds to load up. I think that's the reason it's not loading up really.

Here's a link to his texture packs for said games.

I just downloaded/tried Majora's Mask textures and Citra goes unresponsive for about 30 seconds while it tries to preload all those textures.  My guess is that since it goes into a unresponsive state LB/BB sees it as being crashed or it thinks it failed to launch, and just closes it and brings you back to the frontend thinking it failed to launch the emulator properly.  Probably best to play it without the preload option enabled for now.  Not sure if there's a way to tell LB to wait for 30 seconds after launching to see if the emulator is available or not.  Maybe there's a way to do this via the AHK scripts?  Someone else would have to answer that question though, as I'm not sure if that's doable or not :(
