Do separates media and Launchbow drive increase performance ?

Hi :)

Everything is in the question. For now, i have all my Setup in a 4TB drive, following the Launchbox structures. But i have a sleeping SSD in my drawer that waits to be used, and i was wondering if having Launchbox and roms on my 4TB Drive and move the Media (images, video, musics....) on a separate SSD would help to increase performance of BigBox interface (BB is running flawlessly, but when i use the wheel too for many seconds in a raw, the logo of the games take a long time to display) ?

If yes, is there a  procedure to globaly reconfigure the paths , or i have to go in each platform to change manually the path for video, images, manuals....) ?
