Mame not working , spinning wheel of death

I haven't made any changes then recently I went to play a Mame game and in trying to load I got the spinning wheel .  Not sure what changed.  I tried updating MAMe but still not working.  Any ideas?

Do your games still work if directly Launched in Mame? What mame are you using (Mame, MameUI, Arcade64, etc.) and what version?

No they weren't, may have solved.  thanks for the idea.  I switched from MAME to MAMEUI and completely reimported.  I think that will work.  MAMEUI did work on it's own while MAME did not.
