curbmusic@yahoo.com
Total Noob, have been loading & playing PS2 games w/o issue for 3 weeks. A couple of days ago, I loaded up 13 PS2 games & accidentally fell asleep while LB was updating metadata before adjusting my power/sleep settings, basically my laptop shutdown in the middle of the upload. When I woke up hours later, I powered up my computer & it resumed loading my ISO's. The games appeared to load but didn't have any of the photos/metadata so I deleted them from Launchbox & started over. Now every time I attempt to load a PS2 game/games I'm getting the following error message & then LB totally shuts down: The 'FileName' start tag on line 128680 position 6 does not match the end tag of 'GameName'. Line 128680, position 82. App: LaunchBox Version: 11.2 Type: System.Xml.XmlException Site: Void Throw(System.Exception) Source: System.Xml at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.Throw(Exception e) at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.ThrowTagMismatch(NodeData startTag) at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.ParseEndElement() at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.ParseElementContent() at System.Xml.XmlLoader.LoadNode(Boolean skipOverWhitespace) at System.Xml.XmlLoader.ReadCurrentNode(XmlDocument doc, XmlReader reader) at System.Xml.XmlDocument.ReadNode(XmlReader reader) at System.Data.DataSet.ReadXml(XmlReader reader, Boolean denyResolving) at System.Data.DataSet.ReadXml(String fileName) at (<>c__DisplayClass2_0 ) at Unbroken.LaunchBox.Search.RomFiles.<>c__DisplayClass2_0.<PopulateFiles>b__0() at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.RunInternal(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state, Boolean preserveSyncCtx) at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.Run(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state, Boolean preserveSyncCtx) at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.Run(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state) at System.Threading.ThreadHelper.ThreadStart() Recent Log: 1:54:51 PM Exception I've tried restarting but this keeps happening over and over, anybody know what I need to do? I would be eternally grateful.
Jason Carr
Unfortunately this probably means you have corrupted data files. Try deleting your LaunchBox\Data\Platforms\Sony Playstation 2.xml file; unfortunately that will remove your PS2 games though.
