Updating metadata

Hi when I update any metadata everything goes ok up to finishing off then launch box freezes up and I have to restart and nothing is saved any ideas please, this has only started prior to the last 2 updates.

How many records are you attempting to update? We are aware the process takes quite some time for a large number of updates. I would try for now updating few entries and see how that fares and go from there.

Thanks it took about 30mins to finish up all ok .
