eXist
Hi all, first time poster here. Im in the process of setting up my Launchbox and so far i have a few older systems working perfectly. My issue is following the Youtube guides for N64 even tho i have all the graphics options set high including the resolution up at x8 or 4k, nothing changes ingame and instead my games look worse than default! Ive tried all the resolutions in 4/3 and 16/9 adjusted, ive tried x8 scaler and nothing makes any difference even when saving a state and restarting the game. Am i missing something obvious as i have a powerful enough system to run pretty much anything up to gamecube etc at 4k? Thanks

Also if you use the angrylion graphics api in the core settings that cant be upscaled.
eXist
Hey Neil, i found another forum post in which the person deleted their config file which i did, that reverted all mupen64 settings back to default which instantly looked better, more importantly it also set the api from Angrylion to something else which means i now have shiny graphics working! Any other tips of things i shouldn't mess with are welcome however. Thanks
