Setting Up Controller for BigBox

Hi everyone

I'm trying to setup a controller for BigBox and RetroArch. I got an NES30Pro from 8Bitdo and a WiiU Pro Controller, which both are connected with the 8bitDo Wireless Adapter (https://www.8bitdo.com/wireless-usb-adapter/). But they weren't recognized by BigBox or RetroArch. But when I test them in Windows (joy.cpl), everything works fine. 

Any ideas how I can use them in BigBox and RetroArch?

I used to use that controller with no issue connecting to either BB or RetroArch. However, I did not use the 8bitdo wireless adapter. I just connected it directly to my pc's bluetooth connection. I also made sure to connect it in x-input mode (Hold X + Start). What input mode are you using?
