johncrisp82
I have converted an HP DeskPro to a low-end emulation pc. Its running i5 4590T with 16gb ram and 1t sdd. Here is what I am noticing...when I run any rims through their stand alone emulators, they run fine, very snappy, no lagging. However, when I turn right around and run them through ANY core on Retroarch, I get constant and almost rhythmic slow down on the whole game. I am talking about SNES, NES, GBA, N64 and other low end games. Im thinking there has to be some setting in Retroarch that I'm missing. Also, I would have posted this on the Retroarch forum but you cant post new topics as a new member of the forum. I really appreciate any help or ideas that I could try. Thanks! Mr. RetroLust
I have seen this come up before and I don't know if this'll help but have you set your monitor settings to 60fps? Some people had it set lower and experienced problems.
