Alfadirr Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 What is the best method to stream LaunchBox from Window 10 to an Apple 4K TV? What have you found successful to be able to play games with a controller within Apple TV? I am also to purchasing other options that will run LaunchBox. I currently own several Raspberry Pi 3B's as well. No matter the platform that would allow me to play on our TV, I want the data and game saves in a centralized location and shared across my PC, the TV in the living room and bedroom TV. Thoughts? Suggestions? Thanks! Quote
Professor Ore Posted December 13, 2021 Posted December 13, 2021 Use the Steam Link Apple TV app and the Steam Link PC app. Just add LaunchBox as a non-steam game and it'll be there. Quote
viking Posted December 14, 2021 Posted December 14, 2021 I use Moonlight stream, but you need a NVIDIA GPU. Work well on Apple TV 4K (1Gig network) but not on HD (100Meg network). Work well at home with a Windows 10 virtual machine on my home server. Work well outside home to, over internet 😉 Quote
Cloudster Posted January 15 Posted January 15 I am using the moonlight/sunshine method to open Big Box on my ATV 4K as well. However, my xbox controller which is paired directly to my ATV doesn't seem to work when playing games in Big Box. For example, I have tried launching a game using ryujinx emulator that I have configured in Big Box, but after the game is loaded, none of the controls on my xbox controller seem to work. They do work fine for navigating the menus in Big Box though. Can someone please help me fix this. Quote
Cloudster Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Update. Seems like moonlight/sunshine method doesn't pass through my xbox controller to Launchbox/Big Box. I mean I'm able to control and navigate the menus with the controller, however once I am loaded into a game the controls don't work at all. What worked for me is adding Big Box as a non-steam game, and then use steamlink app on the ATV to connect to my Windows instead. This way my controller works with games and all. Quote
