Better way to find matches in Launchbox?

Hey y'all, I'm very new to using Launchbox, but I feel like I'm doing something wrong. I'm trying to import my library of around 7k different games, and about 1200 of them Launchbox is not finding matches for. Some if I manually edit the name it will find it when searching again, but going through all 1200 is a lot. Possibly an external tool is needed for better or different naming conventions, currently most files are named how they were when I got them. I'm newer to building a ROM library in general, so I don't know if it's something I'm doing wrong or what. And with the image processing for Launchbox taking like 15 hours to process through, and still have 1/6 missing metadata, i feel like I'm driving myself nuts. Any help on how to make matching easier would be appreciated.

Did you import all 7k games in one go? You should import them platform after platform.

Naming convention is quite crucial. If your game is called Super Mario.nes then everything is fine, if it's called Super Mario USA v2.nes Launchbox will obviously not recognize it. Everything in brackets though is omitted by Launchbox, so f.ex. Super Mario (USA) [v2].nes is fine.

Use f.ex. Advanced Renamer for renaming batches of files.

No I did it console by console. If something has been added into Launchbox already, like is in the games folder, and I rename it there, how do I get Launchbox to rescan it?
