dandealer
Hi I just purchased a Launchbox premium licenso to use Big Box on my arcade cabinet. I have a problem mapping controls. If I enable controller and let it as it comes by default, it works. As soon as I try to remap a control it gets stuck on the dialogue box awaiting for input. I have to press escape key and then it loses its asignation. I tried to edit controllers in the input map, and settings xml files but it has no efect. I'm using a jama2USB board that is recognized as dual usb arcade controller. I checked windows controller config and it appears as button 7 is ever presed on both controllers. That doesn't give me any problem with mame or retroarch, but had gime me some problems with demul, so I know it works well. Hope someone point me in how to setup my controllers for bigbox, I dont mind if its editing some file manually. Thank you. Retro808
What settings do you have in the controller page checked and are you selecting the name of the controller in the "Device" field?

dandealer
Well I still cannot map my controller. I have tried it ticking Use All Controlles and same thing. Asap I go to Controller mapping and clic to remap any control it stops responding. My device is shown as 3H Dual Arcade and if I clic it stops responding. Retro808
I am not familiar with the controller/controller board. Does it replicate keystrokes or game controller inputs (xinput / dinput)?
dandealer
It is seen as a joystick/gamepad controller with 2 identical devices (i asume dinput) Edited February 27, 2021 by dandealer Clarification
