TheControlVoice
Today I went into LaunchBox to import from new games from GOG and Steam and I keep getting an error saying I need to make sure the profiles are public and that I cam connected to the Internet. I checked the accounts and they are public. Then I noticed it was saying that it cant connect to EMU Movies. It appears that it no longer has access to the internet. I have had Launchbox for years and never seen this issue. I went and added firewall rules for both LaunchBox.exe and BigBox.exe but that didn't fix it. Has anyone else had this issue? Any ideas on how to troubleshoot it? Thanks in advance.

All of these services, GOG, Steam and Emumovies are separate services and are not run by us, so the fact that all three are saying you have no internet must mean just that, you have a issue on your network. This is unrelated to Launchbox as a program itself, but could be your network blocking any traffic the program is trying to initiate, unfortunately there is nothing we can do to fix your network, you will need to investigate that yourself. Is there a way to reinstall the LaunchBox files without losing all of the settings and imported games, images, etc?

You can just re-install directly over the top of your current install, be sure to choose the directory above Launchbox in the installer, otherwise you will install a new Launchbox to Launchbox/Launchbox.
