Rat
I use Retroarch for most of the systems. So far I've used a Hori Arcade Stick for Mame and Neo Geo as input device and an 8BitDo SN30 Pro for everything else. So far everything worked very well. Retroarch recognized the stick as "RAP.ONE" and the SN30 Pro as "Bluetooth XINPUT-compatible input device". Then I bought an 8BitDo M30 gamepad for the Sega consoles. This is now also recognized as a "Bluetooth XINPUT-compatible input device". So Retroarch cannot tell the difference between the two. Which of course more than restricts its use. I've searched a lot for a solution, but haven't found anything. I've tried a program called “devreorder”, but that only works if you want to use two gamepads at the same time. In my case it is useless. I think the problem is the concept of this stupid virtual "Retropad". Can I turn this off somehow? So that you configure the gamepad separately for each core? Or is there another solution? ------------------------------------------------- I don't speak English very well. So I partially used the google translator. If this text sounds a bit bumpy, I apologize.
DeadVoivod
I think there's a button combination to hold on the 8Bitdo controllers to change them into DInput mode. Cannot remember exactly, but I always had the same problems with 2 of the same controllers. Windows seems to change the mode to whichever controller is switched on first, thus sometimes one is not working alone without having to switch also the 2nd one on. Rat
Thanks for the hint. That worked! I switched one gamepad to dinput and left the other to xinput. It seems like there are no more problems.
