How to reduce Big Box font size

Hello, I am using Big Box on a 4k tv in portrait mode. It was the best way for me to get a large screen while using a 4:3 ratio for my cabinet. I built a replica Killer Instinct cabinet and it looks AMAZING I'd I don't say so myself. The issue however is that the font size in Big Box makes it so only the first 5-6 letters of menu options as well as game titles display. I found another post on the forums here but it was from 2017 and none of the fixes worked for me (my scaling is set to 100 in windows for example and I have set my resolution to 1080p as well as tried others).

My question, is there a way to change/adjust the font size in Big Box and if not, why is that? I ask the question not to point fingers or anger anyone. It's an honest question that I'm curious about.

Thank you for any help anyone is able to provide.

Do you have a screenshot of what your seeing? Big Box by default uses some maths behind the scene to scale font appropriate to the monitor height and DPI best it can. This was done to reduce what it sounds like you're seeing. Themes CAN override that logic though and force the menus to use other font sizes.

Thank you for your reply. I was able to finally find a resolution that worked PERFECTLY for what I am trying to do. It is 1440x1080. That fixed all of my issues immediately. I'm not sure why that is but regardless, I'm keeping it and not updating a thing ever. It works lol.

I've read numerous threads on essentially this same issue, which I have been unable to resolve.  I have a vertically oriented monitor (native 1050 x 1680) and am playing around modifying  the Vertical Aspirations theme.  Playing with the column widths in OptionsView.xaml helped a tad, but I've been at a loss on how to change the font size.  Windows scaling is at 100% and standard (small) dpi.

I'm clearly not experienced enough in coding xaml for which file and how to modify the Options menu font size.  Any suggestions?

If you look the true vert theme I'm PRETTY sure I modified all of that. In that theme you will see several files in the view that start read "Options....MenuItemView.xaml" These view files dictate how those items are all rendered including font size. Pretty sure I touched all of them in the theme so should get you close to what you're shooting for hopefullly.
