Retroarch 64 with mame2003_plus_libretro dll - MAME TAB key does not work

Hi,

I am using retroarch 64 windows through launch box. When i launch Gauntlet using mame2003_plus_libretro dll the game runs but controler buttons and joysticks are not working correctly as configured in retroarch. I tried the TAB key when game launched but no config menu opens up. I did try MAME UI stand alone and it will not run my gauntlet but does run Tron and TAB opens up menu. Could some one confirm how to get the TAB menu in mame to work with retroarch 64 windows?
