Nortion12
Hi, I have messed around with the controller settings for the various platforms on my build but haven't been able to find a post or solution to my problem. I have 4 Xbox 360 controllers running through a wireless receiver, they work great. I went and bought some awesome NES wireless controllers that have their own USB receivers. The problem is, they register in windows as another XBOX 360 controller, so with the 2 NES controllers, (the USB receivers are always on) so the NES controllers always register as controller 1 and 2. This ends up messing up any other emulator I run, where it tries to use the NES controllers as 1 and 2, so the only way to use them is to plug the NES USB receiver in only when using NES and other emulators. Basically, I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to set these permanently as maybe controller 5 and 6, or somehow to denote to bigbox that they are a different controller for setting up keybinds. I really dig these controllers, but they are cramping my bigbox style, which I really want to 'just work' with eventually a wad of wireless controllers under my coffee table. (I was going to get other wireless controllers for each system, but ran into this issue). If anyone can help I would love any suggestions! Kiinkyfoxx
Try using this https://github.com/briankendall/devreorder Use the instance GUID of the controllers and not the name and you should be able to set it so that NES controllers go into posn 5 &
