All DOS Games Suddenly Not Launching

Hi everyone!  Although I've been a premium subscriber for 7 years, I've never really had a need to come to the forum for help until now.  :)  I've had MS-DOS games working for quite some time;  some I manually set up off of CD / disk imports (yes, even 5.25"), others through purchased, connected platforms such as GOG Galaxy and Steam.  All have been working for quite some time, but suddenly none will launch through BigBox or LaunchBox.

I tested a game directly through GOG, and it launches correctly (calling upon DOSbox), so no issues there.  I can also launch DOSbox manually through BigBox, but it won't allow me to just 'Play' the game.  I did notice, however, that the games that were imported through GOG Galaxy have the 'Additional Apps/Version' option of 'Play GOG Version', and that DOES work through BigBox, but two things wrong with that:

1. Not all DOS games have that option, as they weren't all imported from GOG

2. I don't want to have to click through to that additional sub-menu

Upon reflection, I am not sure if I've tested any of these since importing / connecting to these external sources, including GOG Galaxy.  Perhaps that altered the default DOSbox configuration of LaunchBox/BigBox, impairing its ability to run?  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This would depend on how you imported the DOS games. I'm assuming you used one of the DOS import wizards to do so. Based on that assumption, I would start by focusing on one game that isn't working.

Go into the game's Edit Game window and see how things are set up. Make sure the Application Path (under Launching) is pointing to a file that exists and is accessible by your computer. Under DOSBox, make sure it's enabled to use DOSBox to play the game, and make sure you have any Mounts to the correct media (if applicable). You could also check Root Folder to make sure that it's pointing to the correct game folder.

This will, at least, give you an idea of what could be happening.
