Black screen when launching Mame via RetroArch from LaunchBox

Hi,

I recently began my setup and I successfully configured SNES and MD to launch through RetroArch.
Now I'm trying to do the same for Mame games. I'm using Mame current for RetroArch (0.238). The games can be started without issues directly from RetroArch, However I get a black screen every time I try from LaunchBox.
It seems to detect and load the rom files properly (last file name is displayed at launch), and I also get a message saying my controller was detected.

Retroarch's mame_libretro core is properly associated with the Mame platform (yes it's called "Arcade"):


Any help/idea would be greatly appreciated.

You likely have the option to "Extract Rom" checked in your LB Retroarch settings.

Go to >Tools >Manage >Emulators and edit Retroarch. On the details tab it is the check box on the bottom right.
