RelativeGene Posted January 20, 2022 Share Posted January 20, 2022 Hi Since I updated to Windows 11 from Window 10, the Windows shut down randomly when launchbox is running. This is the event log The process C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\shutdown.exe (AMIR-DESKTOP) has initiated the shutdown of computer AMIR-DESKTOP on behalf of user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM for the following reason: No title for this reason could be found Reason Code: 0x800000ff Shutdown Type: shutdown I have not encountered any shutdown unless Launchbox is running. I have monitored the system for several days and the shutdown only happens when Launchbox is running. I have reinstalled Launchbox but no effect. RelativeGene Posted February 1, 2022 Author Share Posted February 1, 2022 Hi, Still having issues. Tried reinstalling dotnet framework, but no effect. Updated to version 12.7 but still the Windows 11 shutdown sporadically. My computer runs fine when Launchbox is not running (including games), but shut downs randomly when LB/BB are running.
