Imported SNK Neo Geo CD, can play in retroarch but not in LB. the console is missing from emulator associated platforms

I imported a set of Neo Geo CD roms.  the console and the game images are displayed in LB.  but when I try to play one of the games nothing happens.  I ran retroarch and I can play the SNK Neo Geo CD game with retroarch.  I went to check what core LB is assigning to SNK Neo Geo CD games so I went to tools/emulators/retroarch/associated platforms.  the console is not even listed so there is no way to set it.  I deleted the games folder and re-imported the roms.  no change.  SNK Neo Geo CD is not listed in associated platforms and the games do not play from LB.

any ideas?  has anyone seen this problem before?

Thank you Neil!

No probs, what is in that list is just some common things to get you started, you can add anything you like, as well as change which core is used to your own liking. Same when adding emulators, doesnt have to be in the dropdown list, just type a name in.

thanks that fixed it.

I didn't notice the empty line at the bottom.  didn't realize it was an editbox and there is no add button.  LB might want to add one.  the button could simply go to the bottom line and open the edit box/pulldown menu.  or change the color of the line at the bottom to make it stand out more.
