Launchbox lists Games/Roms that aren't listed in my ROMS

Simply put; had it import MAME Roms, and when it was all said and done. It listed 18,000 games. 

There are only 600 files in that folder. Clicking a game that I know it doesn't exist, it goes black for a second, then goes back to launchbox. 

The file also doesn't exist in the roms folder.

Why is it doing this?

Why is it doing this?

It is doing that because you probably imported your roms using the "Mame Arcade Full Set" option. You do not have a full mame rom set so you should not have used that. Also 18,000 is a lot so it seems like you unchecked some options as the full proper import for a full rom set is around 3K. You should import using either "rom file" option or simply drag & drop your 600 roms into LB.
