fishboxtf Posted May 15, 2022 Share Posted May 15, 2022 Hi Just recently I started to notice that certain emulator such as dolphin on my laptop Gigabyte Aorus with 3070 graphics card began to have serious frame rate dip during game play, like from 60 suddenly drops to 30 then back to 60 again. I have also noticed when running emulators independently, such issue was not found. I also noticed bigbox slows down even during the menu when navigating from one page to another. Anyone please help to see if there is a way to resolve the issue? I have found some bigbox themes (refried) caused issues with emulator frame drops so going back to the default theme fixed that. 2. I also have had issues with windows power plans when not running in high performance mode can causes issues with emulators and slowdowns. The CPU was being throttled by windows causing frame drops.
