Launching games with multiple executables

I have run into an issue with a Steam game (Dragon Ball FighterZ) which has 2 executables. The default behaviour when launching from BigBox is:

  • The game launches the first executable (anti-cheat)
  • The first executable exits which causes BigBox to think the game ended and sends you back to BigBox.
  • The game continues to load the 2nd executable (the actual game) in the background.

I have worked around this by writing a simple AHK script but want to know if this is really the right approach as it feels a bit hacky? I can't be the first person to have run into this issue as I'm sure there are lots of games which do something similar. Does anyone know if there is a better way to handle this behaviour? Maybe a feature or a setting in Launchbox/BigBox that I am missing.

Thanks!
