kal9000 Posted July 4, 2022 Share Posted July 4, 2022 I'm trying to create an auto-populate playlist in Launchbox for all my shmups. Most of the Arcade ones I can grab via the 'Shooter / Flying Vertical" Genre tag, but there are a lot of horizontal genres and it doesn't appear to be an option in Launchbox genres. Games like Darius and Thunderforce are just tagged as 'Shooter', which is too broad. Maybe a separate 'Shoot 'Em Up' genre should exist? I feel people know what a shmup is when they see it and it would be nice to be able to auto-populate a playlist with them. Cheers! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
OrphieBaby Posted April 13 Share Posted April 13 Don't care how old this topic is, I agree that "Shmup" should exist as a default genre, especially since there are millions of them and first-person-view shooters are an entirely different thing.
