Game backgrounds - how they work?

after a couple of years since i've bought launchbox premium (btw, i thought i could keep on using bigbox without new features, but it seems my licence doesn't work anymore because it's outdated, is that how it should work?) i'm back trying to set up a nice emulation machine.
I added 3 games atm: mario 64, mario all stars + world and castlevania order of ecclesia.

After adding all of them, i noticed that both mario games come with a tv box background and some fanart at the sides of the screen. They look awesome but order of ecclesia has nothing.
Is this something I should setup from launchbox? Or is it something related to retroarch and how it works? What's the name of these BGs? Any way I could download them automatically? Is there any way I could add one to order of ecclesia?

You can use any version of LaunchBox or Big Box that was released before you license expired for forever with a license purchase.

I believe you're referring to what is called a bezel. Bezels CAN be downloaded from The Bezel Project within LaunchBox for use inside of RetroArch and MAME. You simply run the import or the Download Metadata and Media Wizard and as long as you are importing games using either emulator, or have selected any number of games using those emulators there will be a page asking if you'd like us to download bezels for those games for you.
