HOW TO UPDATE EMULATORS ON LAUNCHBOX PC?

Hello,

 

I would like to know how to update emulators if they have new versions available?
 

I am seeing MAME has now v0246 whereas I have still v0245 installed and playing on it.

 

Do I have to update the emulators on my own?

 

If not, please guide me the steps how to do so.

(PS: My Launchbox version is v12.14)

Yes. Launchbox is the frontend and all the pretty, the emulators, are not made or maintained by us.

Hello @neil9000 Hope you are doing well. So how does it goes. I mean if I download the mame setup file and set the destination to DiskDrive:\Games\LaunchBox\Emulators\MAME 0.245 and overwrite the 0246 files on v0245, will that be okay?

 

Or how can I add a new version of Mame into the launchbox?
