HI,

I have just set up LaunchBox and while SNES & Gamecube are working ok, if i try to launch PSX or Dreamcast roms i just get the Video which seems to load in RetroArch but not the game, once the video has played it exits out to the retroarch menu. Can anyone offer any thoughts on why this may be happening as i want to add more platforms but having searched the web and these forums i cant really work out what the problem is.

Thanks,

Rob.

Well it sounds to me like you imported video files and not rom files if you are seeing a video play. Edit one of the imported games and head to the launching tab, what file is Launchbox pointing too?

Thanks for that, i imported the Roms but it seems to have pulled the videos in from the Media folder, and not downloaded the roms. Deleting and re-importing now!

Thankyou for your help, simple solution i think!

Dont import a whole folder if you have non rom files in there, also the easiest way to import is to just highlight your files in Windows and just drag and drop those files to the Launchbox window which will start the import wizard for just those files. Launchbox is file type agnostic, so if you just through a folder with multiple file types at it, it will import all those files.
