XML file update instead of replace

If I export f.ex. 3 games, an .xml file is created within the data platform folder. If I now export 3 more games, LB will keep the games and media, but the .xml file is overwritten, meaning the first 3 games are erased. Isn't there a possibility that the existing .xml file gets updated instead of replaced?
