sushko Posted September 3, 2022 Share Posted September 3, 2022 Hi I have two computers that I like to use launchbox on. One is really for setup and the other is for playing. I have lots of problems with this setup because evreytime I move the drive from one computer to the other it doesn't remember the work I preformed. Files are missing, recycle bin is corrupted, permissions need to be reset. I just would like to be able to get things done at a desktop instead of at the gaming rig. Sometimes windows can repair the drive and stuff will come back but even the backup in launchbox won't bring back all of my work. I am using two windows 10 computers and a WD my book HD. JoeViking245 Posted September 3, 2022 Share Posted September 3, 2022 When you exit LaunchBox, you need to wait a few/several seconds (30 to be ultra-safe? But realistically, it's way less than that) for LaunchBox to finish saving data. Even after its main window closes. Then when you remove your external drive, use the "Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media" feature located on your taskbar. You may need to click the 'up chevron' to see it.
