How to update ROM folder path to newer location with updated set?

When I select all the games of a given platform i.e. NES, I go to Tools>File Management>Change ROMs folder path for selected games...  My question is how do I scan the updated folder for new versions of games or additional games?

Can just run the import on that folder. We don't import the same file twice so you should only see the newer files in the import.

After changing the ROM path, I get a message saying 116 files were found in the selected games that do not exist in the newly selected folder.  Would you like to change their folder paths anyways?  Am I right to click "No"?  To verify all the games are playable and the links are valid, do I "Audit" the folder from the Tools menu next?
