SBZRO
Hey everyone. I tried using the search function and found posts about this issue a few years back but nobody responded to the posts. This is my first arcade setup and I've purchased the Geek Box Arcade Stick and buttons and I have issues using it in Big Box mode once a game has launched. I've confirmed that the joystick and buttons work when launching content directly from RetroArch and mapped them accordingly. But once I go into Big Box or LaunchBox, I am able to navigate (joystick and two buttons work) around but once a game launches, the previous mappings in RetroArch don't seem to work. Is there a setting I'm missing? I've already enable the Game Controller via Launchbox and all mappings within that setting seem to be very specific to navigating Big Box/LaunchBox. SBZRO
Side note. I've noticed that every time I launch a game in LaunchBox, I see a notification of "Configuration Override Loaded". This does not appear when using RetroArch
airdooby
I would love to see some responses for this, I have the exact same situation. I have tried 2 generic controllers and then 2 actual 360 controllers. No dice. Best I've got is by removing all the controllers and starting with just 1 360 controller. It worked one time and when I exited the game it was done too. I get the exact same messages as above. The controllers show up fine in Windows and navigating Big Box, just won't work in games. This does not appear when using RetroArch that configuration override loaded IS retroarch. It's loading a configuration override. So try saving your own configuration override in retroarch outside of launchbox/bigbox once you've got all your controls set. See if it loads that configuration override that you saved next time you open it via launchbox/bigbox.
SBZRO
I will give this configure override a shot. I lost hope and kinda put things off to the side for a bit but i'll give it a shot tomorrow. I really want to finish up this cabinet.
