Does this mean i need to get a whole new rom set and start over? Or can i just replace Venture? Honestly its not just one, but a few different games. 99% of this works great but a few childhood memories would like to be brought back to life. dragon57 Posted November 5, 2022 Share Posted November 5, 2022 It really sounds like you have what is called a mis-matched MAME set. You should always match the MAME version you want to use to a set of roms packaged for that same MAME version. If you can find the correct version of Venture, you could replace what you currently have, but it takes some knowledge and understanding of what type of rom set you have (there are different types that MAME can use).
