How to update/consolidate GOG/Steam install info

I have games that I have purchased both on GOG and Steam and I am wondering how to consolidate that information so that it displays properly.  Just this morning I had a game that was purchased on both platforms.  I clicked on the Manage icon and installed the Steam version but LB wouldn't recognize that it was installed.  I could click the little down arrow on the Install button and then there is an option to 'Play Steam version' but it doesn't recognize that it's installed in the main view.  Is it possible to have it automatically recognize when it's installed on one of multiple platforms and still have all the platform information consolidated for the game?

I am using the licensed version on Windows 10.

The install flag should update on the game and the app on startup. The being said though the install flag on the main game checks if the primary app is installed and not if ANY app is installed. I'm pretty sure the install badge only checks the main game as well and not the apps, but I'd have to verify that.

Ok, thanks for the quick reply.  So basically I would have to initially import the game on the platform that I plan to play it on before importing it on the alternate one, is that correct?

No you can assign the primary at any time via the Edit Game window in the Additional Apps tab. Select the one you want as primary and at the bottom of the grid there is a "Make Primary Version" (or something similar) press that and you should be good to go.
