Elmo80
Hi, I’m new to launchbox and I’m having trouble getting NeoGeo games to load. I have version 13 of launchbox and all the YouTube videos and web searches refer to previous versions so not quite the same steps. I have a working set of Roms and Bios. They were working on Retropie using Retroarch. They also work on Retroarch installed on my PC so the problem is with launchbox specifically. I have installed the following cores in Retroarch FB Alpha 2012 CPS–1, CPS –2, CPS–3, FB Alpha Neo Geo, FB Alpha 2012, FinalBurn Neo. Ive imported the roms including the bios under SNK Neo Geo, using Retroarch as the emulator and the core being loaded is fbalpha2012_neogeo_libretro. When I click on a game nothing happens. Any suggestions?

Elmo80
Thanks for the response. That suggestion worked perfectly! Hopefully ok to ask another question. Having only previously used Retropie the shaders are limited in the Pi version of Retroarch. There seems to be a significant number more at hand in the PC version. I’m outputting on HDMI to either a 60 inch led TV or 32 inch gaming LCD screen. Is there a preferable shader used by the majority for NES, SNES, N64 on larger screens? I opted for the Brzfast curve on the Pi. This is a great package very impressed for my first go at it. Thanks JJ

Personally i like to mimic a CRT look, to that end i use the MegaBezel Shaders, these are however heavy on the GPU.
