Ryuk210 Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 Hi everyone, I have a bit of a problem - I think I have several games that I've purchased on multiple platforms without realizing it. It's become difficult to keep track of what games I have and where, and I don't want to accidentally buy a game I already own. I was wondering if there's a way to find duplicate games across platforms. For example, if I have a game on N64 and also on PSX, is there a tool or website that can tell me that? I've tried manually comparing my game library on each platform, but it's time-consuming and prone to errors. I'm hoping there's a simpler solution out there. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! Quote
DeadVoivod Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 Seems a bit strange to me that you "purchased" several games on several platforms and you cannot keep track of them? How many did you "buy", thousands? I know which games I have and for which platform. I think a lot of people here have done it manually, the time-consuming way, it's part of the work. You seem to try to make life easier for yourself by asking other people to basically do it for you. So if I have my games stored in folders named by platform (or even just in one big folder), and Street Fighter exists for several platforms, and I make a search for Street Fighter in Windows Explorer, it will show me all the files for Street Fighter. I use a program called Everything which is a fantastic file search engine. And btw, some days ago you asked already a similar question. Quote
