Hidden games in launch box showing up in big box

I’ve been searching everywhere and can’t find the answer to my problem. I’ve been going through launch box in my mame platform and hiding games that don’t have a marquee to display on my second monitor.  The issue is big box is still displaying the hidden games in mame. Any help would be appreciated

If your games marked as Hide are hidden in LaunchBox but not in BigBox, go to your BigBox Options General settings and check that the Show Hidden Games tickbox is disabled.

I made sure I checked that the Show hidden games tickbox in bigbox was disabled but the hidden games are still showing. Any other ideas?

The feature works fine for me.
You could check under your BigBox Theme Specific Options that for your chosen theme the Show Hidden Games is not overriding the global setting.

That was it!!! Needed to uncheck the show hidden games within the bigbox theme-specific options. Thank you!!!
