Question about gamelist.xml to Launch box from Retro bat setup

Hello everyone,

I have a retrobat setup that I made with collection and it uses a gamelist.xml file.  I do understand that this host the locations of the media, metadata.  I want to get back to LB and setup with bigbox using my license again.  My question is what's going to be the easiest way to migrate/import my roms, media, xml's.  I can use symbolic links so I can share files between the two systems.  Im sure I can share the emulators, bios files the same way thru symbolic links.  I'm just drawling a black on the gamelist.xml.  Dumb question but can that file be renamed as the platform ID?  Ultimately I don't want to recreate all my artwork and metadata.  It took lots of time getting this created.  I'm sure there are many ways of doing this.

I have a tool available in the download section that sounds like it can probably do what you want. I haven't used the tool since I posted it and not even sure if I still have the codebase for it though so if it doesn't pull through for you in it's current state I wouldn't hold much hope for it to be revised.

Can find the tool here:
