Marquee 2nd Screen - My Options

Hello All - I am currently running another front end, I am not happy and am switching to BigBox. I have 2 screens in my cab, my main monitor and a second screen above my monitor. I am wanting to use this marquee for artwork and videos. It certainly seems like BigBox can do this on my 2nd screen, which is great.

My questions:

  1. Does BigBox have a feature which allows the auto download of artwork or videos for each game?
  2. If no to the above, is there a 3rd party plugin which can download these?

I have screenshots which seems to suggest each game (I have several thousands), has an option to browse for marquee / 2nd screen artwork and videos, but before I spend months doing this (literally), I wondered if there was some automatic way of BigBox displaying artwork or videos on the 2nd screen / marquee?

I got the 2nd screen / marquee screen from ebay, specs are:
Resolution : 640x480 ~ 1920 x 1200
Screen Size19.0 inch (1/3 cut of 22.0")
Visible area: visible is 480mm x 100mm

Thank you in advance.

HI @Gamer009, the answer is yes to pretty much all of these questions. Marquees in Big Box are flexible enough to use pretty much any kind of image, and Big Box can even prioritize the kinds of images to use. So it's pretty much guaranteed that something will be available to display on your marquee screen for at least close to every game. And yes, LaunchBox by default uses the LaunchBox Games Database to automatically download media for all of your games. It can also download images from EmuMovies, and videos if you pay for an EmuMovies subscription. It's a pretty complete solution at this point.

Hello @Jason Carr - thank you, thats incredibly helpful, I really appreciate it! I will get Big Box up and running this weekend and then search here or fire questions if I can't find a previous post - looking forward to the journey!
